Brown Paper Tape is ECO friendly
Brown paper packaging tape is an environmentally friendly alternative to PVC or PP foil tape, yet offers a strong, secure seal. Paper tape, also known as paper tape, is widely used in the packaging industry. Although it is usually used for boxes / cardboard, it is also often used for other applications.
ECO friendly and extremely strong
Sticking plastic tapes on cardboard boxes is less desirable in the context of the environment. After all, as a recycling company you would rather not have plastic with you. Most people will not take the tape from the box with the old paper. In that case, the use of paper tape offers a very good solution. In addition, it offers even more advantages: For example, the strength. The paper fibers of the pre-wetted gum tape will mix with the cardboard fibers. This gives you a very strong adhesion and connection. If you have doubts about the strength, for example when you pack heavy boxes, you can use the wire-reinforced variant. This is available in both white and brown. The matte appearance ensures that the tape hardly stands out on the box. So it looks aesthetically beautiful and professional.
Use a paper tape dispenser
For automatic box closers we supply the large rolls with 900 meters of tape. To activate the gum layer on the tape, it must first be wetted. We supply various models of tape dispensers for this. These pull the paper tape through a bowl of water. These dispensers are available with manual operation as well as fully or semi-automatically. View paper tape dispensers here.
In addition to the gummed versions, there are also paper tapes that are directly self-adhesive. Very handy if you prefer to apply the tape without water.
